July 6 2017 – Biofeed launched a novel solution to the Bactrocera dorsalis and Bactrocera zonata fruit flies during a visit by Indian Prime Minister Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Biofeed, located in Jerusalem, a leading Israeli agritech company, harnesses the power of odor to obliterate pest issues. on 6 July, 2017, it launched a game-changing sustainable solution for fruit flies management. Biofeed’s products are already active in over 1,000’s of hectares of Israeli fruit orchards. Without spraying or touching the fruit or tree with poison, they regularly solve the problem of Mediterranean fruit fly infestation that, without proper treatment, may destroy up to 100% of citrus and other produce in Israel. This is the first time ever in the world that an effective solution has been developed for the Bactrocera dorsalis and Bactrocera zonata fruit fly problem. No effective solution until now had be developed, including by sprayed pesticides.
